UPS Replacement Battery 12V 9Ah (APC RBC17 Equivalent)

PF-UPSB-RBC17 is a replacement 12 V 9 Ah sealed lead-acid (AGM/VRLA) battery for small UPS units. It uses the case size and terminal layout of the OEM cartridge, so it goes into the battery compartment without modification or rewiring.

It fits the APC Back-UPS ES and Back-UPS CS families in the 500 to 700 VA range that take the RBC17 cartridge, and it is equivalent to OEM part APC RBC17. Compartment sizes and connectors vary between UPS generations, so tell us the exact UPS model printed on the label at the back of the unit when ordering and we will confirm the battery fits before shipping.

A UPS that beeps continuously or fails its self-test after a power cut usually needs a battery, not a new UPS. Expect roughly three to four years of service life, and less in a room that stays above 25 °C, since ambient heat measurably shortens the life of a sealed lead-acid cell. Charge the new battery in place for several hours before relying on it, and hand the old one to a battery recycler. Warranty is 1 year.
