24-Port Rack-Mount Gigabit PoE Surge Protector (1U)

PF-SPD-RACK24-GE is a 1U, 19-inch rack-mount surge protector for 24 Ethernet lines — one panel in front of a full 24-port switch. It is mounted in the network rack like a patch panel: the cables from outdoor cameras, access points and other buildings plug into the panel, short patch cables run from the panel to the switch, and one ground wire to the rack's earth bar protects all 24 switch ports.

Every line passes 10/100/1000 Mbps and 48 V PoE, so the switch keeps powering cameras and access points through it. A large school or factory site often has dozens of outdoor cables ending in one room; a lightning strike nearby can take out a whole PoE switch through them, and this panel is the single place to stop that. Pair it with single-port protectors at the far ends of the longest runs.
