DIN-Rail Power-Line Surge Protector for Cameras and Network Equipment (12/24/48/220 V)

PF-SPD-PWR-DIN protects the power supply line of low-power equipment — a camera, an access point, a small PoE switch in a pole box — against surges coming in on the power cable. It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail and is wired in series: the supply goes into one set of L/+ and N/− terminals, the equipment is fed from the other, and the PE terminal goes to earth.

It is made for one voltage, so choose 12 V, 24 V, 48 V or 220 V when ordering to match the supply it sits on. It is rated 5 kA nominal and 10 kA maximum discharge current (8/20 µs), as printed on the label. It is meant for the feed to individual devices; to protect a whole distribution board, use the single-phase or three-phase board protector instead.
