DIN-Rail Gigabit PoE Ethernet Surge Protector

PF-SPD-DIN-GE is a single-port Gigabit Ethernet surge protector that clips onto the standard 35 mm DIN rail found in electrical cabinets and outdoor pole boxes. It is the tidy choice when the protection goes in a cabinet with breakers and power supplies rather than hanging loose on the cable: the cable from outside goes into the IN port, a short patch cable goes from OUT to the switch or camera, and the PE terminal connects to the cabinet's earth bar.

It handles 10/100/1000 Mbps links and passes 48 V PoE power through, so it works in front of PoE cameras, access points and the PoE switch ports that feed them. Several units side by side on one rail protect several cables, each with its own ground connection to the same earth bar.
