1000BASE-T SFP Copper RJ45 100m

PF-SFP1G-T is a 1000BASE-T copper SFP module. It gives an SFP port an RJ45 socket for Cat5e or Cat6 UTP cable, runs at 1.25 Gbps over up to 100 m, is rated for 0–70 °C, and has no DDM because a copper module has no optical power to report.

Use it where a switch or router has only SFP ports free but the device to connect is copper — an access point, an IP camera, a small switch or a server NIC — and it is equivalent to OEM parts such as Cisco GLC-TE, Huawei SFP-1000BaseT and Juniper EX-SFP-1GE-T. The EEPROM is coded for Cisco, Huawei, H3C, Aruba, Juniper, Ruijie or MikroTik before shipping, so tell us the switch model when ordering.

Two limits are worth knowing before you order. A copper SFP draws more power and runs hotter than an optical module, so some switches restrict how many may be fitted or which slots accept them — check the switch datasheet if you need several. And the module links at 1000 Mbps: fallback to 10/100 Mbps is not supported on every platform, and it will not run at 10G in an SFP+ port. Warranty is 3 years.
