1000BASE-LX SFP 1310nm 10km SMF

PF-SFP1G-LX is a 1000BASE-LX SFP transceiver for single-mode fiber. It runs at 1.25 Gbps on 1310 nm, terminates in an LC duplex connector, reports DDM readings, is rated for 0–70 °C, and reaches 10 km over standard G.652 single-mode fiber.

It is the usual module for 1G links between buildings on a campus, or from a main site to a remote gate house, pump station or branch, and it is equivalent to OEM parts such as Cisco GLC-LH-SMD, Huawei SFP-GE-LX-SM1310, H3C SFP-GE-LX-SM1310-A, Aruba J4859D and Juniper EX-SFP-1GE-LX. The EEPROM is coded for Cisco, Huawei, H3C, Aruba, Juniper, Ruijie or MikroTik before shipping, so tell us the switch model when ordering.

LX needs single-mode fiber and an LX module at the far end; it is not interchangeable with the SX modules used on indoor multimode cabling. On a very short single-mode run the received power can be too high, so check the DDM reading after installation and add an attenuator if needed. If the same route needs 10G later, PF-SFP10G-LR uses the same fiber and LC connectors. Warranty is 3 years.
