Description
PF-SFP10G-SR is a 10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceiver for multimode fiber. It runs at 10.3 Gbps on 850 nm, terminates in an LC duplex connector, reports DDM readings, is rated for 0–70 °C, and reaches 300 m over OM3 fiber and up to 400 m over OM4.
It is the standard 10G uplink module inside one building — access switch to core switch, or server to switch — and it is equivalent to OEM parts such as Cisco SFP-10G-SR, Huawei OMXD30000, H3C SFP-XG-SX-MM850-A, Aruba J9150D and Juniper EX-SFP-10GE-SR. The EEPROM is coded for Cisco, Huawei, H3C, Aruba, Juniper, Ruijie or MikroTik before shipping, so tell us the switch model when ordering.
Check the cabling before choosing SR: it only works over multimode fiber with an LC duplex patch cord, and both ends of the link must be SR modules, because an SR module cannot pair with an LR module at the far end. For runs longer than 300 m on OM3, or for single-mode fiber between buildings, use PF-SFP10G-LR instead. DDM lets you read module temperature and optical power from the switch CLI. Warranty is 3 years.
