Description
PF-QSFP100G-SR4 is a 100GBASE-SR4 QSFP28 transceiver for multimode fiber. It carries 100 Gbps as four 25 Gbps lanes on 850 nm through a single MPO/MTP-12 connector, reports DDM readings, is rated for 0–70 °C, and reaches 70 m over OM3 or 100 m over OM4.
It is used for 100G core and spine links in data centres and large-enterprise backbones, over MPO trunk cabling inside one row or one room, and it is equivalent to OEM parts such as Cisco QSFP-100G-SR4-S and Huawei QSFP-100G-SR4. The EEPROM is coded for Cisco, Huawei, H3C, Aruba, Juniper, Ruijie or MikroTik before shipping, so tell us the switch model when ordering.
The port must be a native QSFP28 100G port: a QSFP+ 40G port has the same cage shape and will accept the module physically, but will not run it at 100G, so check the port type before ordering. As with 40G SR4 you need a 12-fiber MPO trunk with the correct polarity and an SR4 module at both ends, and the reach is short — beyond 100 m this is the wrong module for the link. Warranty is 3 years.
